Parsley. The Greeks believed that the herb parsley grew from the blood of a hero named Achemorus who was killed by a serpent. At games held in his honor, they crowned the winners with parsley wreaths. Both the Greeks and the Romans regarded parsley as a symbol of death and rebirth. ✨ would like to focus a bit more on herbs and their symbolic meanings throughout history for my book project. Please email me at if interested. Thank you ✨
